The video shows where to get the armor and a close look at the set — this guide has the full stats and the other vendors, so you can check them while you play.

Domina Armor is a full set of light armor you can buy in Ald'ruhn for about 330 gold, cheap enough for a new character. Every piece has 15 armor rating, which is a big step up from Chitin and matches Wolf Armor. It comes from an official plugin, and it was designed for women, so it looks odd on men. This guide covers the stats, where to buy it, and how it compares to the other early light sets.

Overview

Domina Armor might be the most overlooked light armor in Morrowind. I've played the game for years and can't remember seeing anyone actually wear it.

It's one of two sets added by the official LeFemm Armor plugin, which was made with female characters in mind. The other is Gold Armor, the strongest medium set in the game. Domina is the budget option, and it covers more of your body: helmet, cuirass, both pauldrons, both gauntlets, greaves and boots. There's no shield.

Every piece sits at 15 armor rating. Chitin Armor, the usual early light set, is 10 per piece, so Domina is a clear step up. Wolf Armor from Bloodmoon is also 15 per piece. It won't compete with Glass Armor at 50, but you don't need a high level or a big bankroll to wear it.

None of this is in the base game. The GOG release bundles the plugin but leaves it switched off, so enable it under Data Files in the launcher. Steam doesn't include it, but UESP's plugins page has the download.

Male characters can wear Domina Armor too. It just looks odd on them.

Where to Get It

The whole set is for sale in Ald'ruhn, and a new character can afford it.

Getting to Ald'ruhn

If you've never been, take the Silt Strider from Balmora. Once you're in Ald'ruhn, head east across town to the armorer.

Dandera Selaro

Dandera Selaro sells Domina Armor from a stall outside her house. Open dialogue with her and barter.

She'll sell you the entire set for 330 gold. That was the price for a fresh level 1 character, and the set's base value is 298, so your Mercantile skill and her opinion of you will shift it a little. 330 gold is within reach right after you leave Seyda Neen if you sell the early loot you pick up along the way.

Other Vendors

Manicky in Sadrith Mora and Aryne Telnim, in her shop in Tel Aruhn, also sell the set. UESP notes it can be stolen from containers near each of the three vendors, too.

If you've installed the Adamantium Armor plugin too, Dandera stocks that as well. See the Adamantium Armor guide for the stats.

Who It's For / Tips & Things to Know

Best for: Light armor builds that want a full set early and cheap. You can be fully armored from helmet to boots before you can afford anything else. It's not a late-game set, so don't expect it to carry you.

Armor rating context: At 15 per piece, Domina matches Wolf Armor and beats Chitin at 10. Glass is at 50 per piece, and Domina will never get close.

Enchanting: Capacity is low across the board. The cuirass tops out at 12, and the gauntlets are 8 each, so treat it as plain armor.

No shield: There's no Domina shield. A Chitin shield is the easy substitute, since chitin armor is common across Vvardenfell.

The helmet: Beast races can wear it, so Khajiit and Argonian characters aren't left out.

How it looks: Domina was designed for female characters, and male characters can wear it, but it looks odd on them.
